Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Soigneur. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Health and safety — read this one

Soigneur is a training and planning tool. It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice. Training plans, fuelling guidance, and anything the AI assistant says are general information only.

• Consult a doctor before starting or significantly changing a training programme, particularly if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or illness, or are over 40 and have been inactive.
• Stop and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, unusual breathlessness, dizziness or any symptom that concerns you.
• Fuelling guidance is a starting point to rehearse in training, not a prescription. Individual tolerance varies enormously.
• Where a human coach is involved, their advice is theirs. We provide the tool they use; we do not supervise, endorse or take responsibility for their coaching.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share logins.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for; part-periods are not pro-rated.
• We may change prices. Existing subscribers get notice by email before a change takes effect at their next renewal.
• Coach plans are limited by roster size. Exceeding your limit requires an upgrade.

Refunds

If you were charged in error, or something was materially broken, email hello@soigneurapp.com and we will refund you. Statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal, are unaffected by anything in these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Break the law, or use Soigneur to harm or harass anyone
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
• Probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the service
• Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement

Your content

Your training data, plans and notes remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service for you — storing, processing and displaying your content to you and to the people you have granted access.

Availability

We aim to keep Soigneur running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and third-party integrations may break for reasons outside our control — Strava, Wahoo and Garmin each control their own APIs.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the entity named on our imprint page is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence.
